The Great Reno Balloon Race is looking for a partner to manage the general parking facilities during the 2012 event to take place Sept. 7-9. Event directors hope to find an organization that would embrace the opportunity to work with another non-profit and can commit to the three event days in September.
Primary responsibilities for this position will be to direct incoming traffic and collect parking fees from managed lots located at Sierra St./McCarran and Coleman St. There should be approximately 30 volunteers for both Saturday and Sunday and 15 for Friday. The organization should have a point person to manage communication between their group and event coordinators.
The Balloon Race will provide necessary equipment including flashlights and safety vests. Compensation will also be given to the organization along with public recognition for their service. For more information please contact Pete Copeland at (775) 742-9385 or pete@renoballoon.com.
