The Great Reno Balloon Race T-6 Airplane Ride Auctions!
Thanks to the generosity of the National Championship Air Races, the Balloon Race has the opportunity to auction rides in the T-6 airplanes that fly the morning of the event, September 10- 12. Beginning Monday, August 23, two rides for each day of the event will be auctioned off on e-Bay. This auction is a fundraiser for The Great Reno Balloon Race, a free, non-profit, community event. Below is the list of rides available and the dates they will be up for auction.

All proceeds from this auction will go directly toward operating expenses for this non-profit community event
- The winning bidder will need to arrive at the Stead Airport by 6:00 a.m.
- The flight will land back at Stead Airport at approximately 7:20 a.m
- Please contact the Balloon Race office at 775-826-1181 with any additional questions
- Winning Bidder must be over age 18 and have a valid Driver's License or Identification
- A liability waiver will need to be signed by the Winning Bidder prior to the flight
- Auction must be paid immediately after winning bid is made
- The Great Reno Balloon Race will need winning bidder's contact information in order to schedule flights.
- Clothing: closed toed shoes are a must, pants and a light jacket as the planes have no heaters
- Bring: Identification and your camera
